What sets it apart
- A new puzzle every day, the same for everyone, with a streak to keep (and a shield for a missed day).
- Every slide leaves a groove in the snow that ends at the penguin’s flag; the puzzle is working out who went first. Every level is checked by a solver before it ships.
- New pieces, a pack for each: springs, rockhoppers, cracked ice, levers and gates, seal holes, chinstraps, gentoos, flip springs and flip switches.
- A detective penguin to dress up, with 80+ things to wear, earned by playing.
- Papercraft art by day and by night (light and dark mode), music made for the game, labels for screen readers throughout, and a Reduce Motion setting.
How it’s made
Snow Sleuth was made by one developer, with the help of AI tools. AI doesn’t make the levels: every level comes from a puzzle generator written for the game and is checked by a solver before it ships.
